Bounce

Lex is now at the age where he can actually "do" things. This is a quick clip of him on his bouncy chair. He was hanging out while we were getting breakfast ready, when we heard giggles along with a bit of rattling.


Sadly, my camera doesn't have sound when it makes a video.

First Day of School

Alayna started 1st grade! She is still in the Dual Language program and is very excited to learn more this year. There was much excitement for her new backpack. It is pink and has 8 pockets!


Alayna wanted to start the school year with straight hair. We also added a few shimmers for her first day. She asked me to write a note to her new teacher so that she can recognize her without her curls.

Alayna's Creation

This is a hair-do that Alayna created* by herself.

She says they are "golden roses" around her head "like a crown."

She also said the curls needed to hang down from each rose, to be the stems.
